Elemental Raiders & Elixir - Partnership Announcement
Elemental Raiders is coming to Elixir! Elemental Raiders is a f2p turn-based hero battler game built on blockchain technology. Elemental Raiders game combines features from collectible card games, multiplayer online battle arena and turn-based RPGs.
Elixir Games adds G4AL into its network of games and gaming studios, aiming to make blockchain gaming more accessible to its players and beyond.
The partnership allows for a seamless integration of blockchain based economies into web3 games and expands the reach of G4AL's games, including the newly released Elemental Raiders to a wider audience through Elixir's established platform.
Elemental Raiders, the first game under the G4AL ecosystem, will launch on Elixir the same day as its official launch on 27th February 2023. In order to celebrate the partnership, G4AL and Elixir will host their first comarketing initiative which will give away rewards of more than 12,000 USD to its users and Elemental Raiders gamers.
Elixir Games, established in 2018, is a leading web3 gaming distribution infrastructure and owner of several quality IP titles. Their core business operates via the Elixir Game Platform, which offers a range of services to ensure a successful game launch for next-generation web3 game studios. The platform provides safe and flexible distribution of games at private and public stages, exposure through top content creators, and acceleration of the go-to-market phase. With over 60 major web3 games integrated, the platform is positioned as one of the leading multi-chain web3 game launchers globally.
G4AL, on the other hand, is a Web3 solution for developers and publishers to build blockchain-based economies into their games. The G4AL ecosystem allows gamers to have true ownership of their digital assets and even incorporates earning mechanisms into games. But with that said, G4AL's latest announcement of it launching on Steam includes a completely free to play game, away from any blockchain or Web3 features for those who solely want to enjoy the game.
With the Web3 version to be rolled out in 2023, players will be able to earn $GGT and other in-game currencies, or engage and purchase NFTs with perks by participating in in-game activities, such as completing quests or winning matches. This will create a new level of engagement and investment in the game for players. G4AL believes in monetising the time and efforts players spend within each game, and has developed its ecosystem around the same.
The G4AL ecosystem enables the transition of traditional game developers to Web3 game development by providing solutions for blockchain technology and token-based economics, whether it's on pre-existing games or new games. The ecosystem has been architected with a cross-ecosystem focus from day one, so it will support all major mobile, desktop, and console ecosystems. Although, only the Windows version is available for download at the moment, with the team working to soon launch the game on the Google Play Store, App Store and other platforms. This means that the games built on G4AL will be played on a wide range of devices, making them accessible to a large audience.
As a steam-like platform for blockchain games, G4AL will list all its games on Elixir's app. This means that players will be able to access G4AL's games through the established Elixir platform, which has a large user base. Both companies will engage in a variety of cross-marketing activities, including AMA sessions, rewards for Elixir app users playing games under the G4AL umbrella, and more. This will help to increase the visibility of G4AL's games and attract more players to the platform.
Overall, the partnership between Elixir Games and G4AL is a significant step towards the mainstream adoption of blockchain-based economies in the gaming industry. The integration of G4AL's blockchain technology into Elixir's established platform will make it easier for players to access and play blockchain games, and for game developers to incorporate blockchain-based economies into their games. This will lead to a new level of engagement and investment in the games, and pave the way for the future of web3 gaming.
